About

The industrial park site is divided into zones, which allows separate applications to be submitted for various funding programs for the construction of access and internal infrastructure. The park is divided into 17 districts located in 4 zones: "North Zone" with an area of 452 decares; "Southeast Zone" with an area of 533 decares; "Southwest Zone" with an area of 38 decares; "Airport and Motorcycle Track Zone" with a total area of 1,660 decares. The 452 decares north of the airport will be submitted as a project for financing the construction of infrastructure under the Public Support Program for the Development of Industrial Areas, Parks, and Similar Territories and for Attracting Investments (AttractInvestBG) of the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, and the southern plot of 533 decares is included in the municipality's Concept for Integrated Territorial Investments, which will be financed under the Regional Development Program 2021-2027. The "Southwest Zone" site, with an area of 38 decares, is suitable for a technology park. A commercial company has been established to manage the park and promote it, with the main objective of holding meetings and participating in economic forums, concluding partnership agreements and contracts for the provision or purchase of land to interested investors within the park. A commercial company, Industrial Park Sliven EOOD, has been established to manage the park, and a concept has been developed with all the necessary documentation to comply with the requirements of the Industrial Parks Act (IPA) and the procedure for entry in the Register of Industrial Parks in Bulgaria. Industrial Park Sliven is entered in the Register of Parks under number 30. The park is of type "A" – general, with no specialisation in production activities. This makes Sliven part of the national investment policy with opportunities to attract investors and a recognizable destination for business development, both for local and multinational companies and their contractors. The economic profile of the wider Sliven-Yambol region has also been surveyed and prepared, with actions taken on strategic and spatial planning, as well as partnerships established between the municipality of Sliven and the municipalities of Yambol, Tundzha, Straldzha, Nova Zagora, Kotel, and Tvrditsa. The team of Industrial Park Sliven Ltd. and the investment attraction department of the municipality of Sliven have launched a campaign to promote the park, whose main objectives are to hold meetings and participate in economic forums, concluding partnership agreements and contracts for the provision or purchase of land to interested investors within the park.
